Thermovial is an innvovative isothermal packaging system, P650 certified for the transport of all kinds of temperature-controlled biological samples.
It is composed of two elements:
The Biocontainer : an accumulator with two cylindrical compartments which sit in the very heart of the eutectic gel and enable the insertion of 2 test tubes, kept hermetically sealed by special stoppers. Dimensions of the housings: 20 mm in diameter, 110 mm in height.
An SD 48 isothermal package in aluminised ISOSTRAT®, designed to hold 1, 2 or 3 bi-containers.
FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Biological samples, test tubes, vaccines, serums, pharmaceutical products.… The Thermovial® is used throughout the world: NGOs, major logistics groups, laboratories, etc.
ADVANTAGES
• The Thermovial® is much easier
to use and manipulate.
• The Biocontainer: made from high density polyethylene, it is totally leakproof and shock-resistant and
does not distort when deep frozen. It contains a non-toxic gel which, thanks to its viscosity, does not run when punctured.
• Thanks to its high calorific properties, the Thermovial® is a vast improvement on dry ice systems (hazardous merchandise IATA Standard).
